1 tablespoon olive oil. 3 garlic cloves, finely minced. 1 1/2 cups cooked or 1 (15.5-ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/3 cup water or vegetable stock. 3 tablespoons chopped fresh basil. 2 medium ripe roma tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices.
